About USF ITE

Welcome to the website of Institute of Transportation Engineers Student Chapter at University of South Florida (referred as USF ITE). USF ITE Student Chapter, is a branch of the University of South Florida Student Government, composed of full-time, part-time, and cooperative students enrolled in the College of Engineering with an expressed interest in Transportation. USF ITE's activities are in accordance with its parent organizations International ITE (http://www.ite.org/) and Florida section of ITE (http://www.floridasectionite.org/) and District 10.

The purposes of the ITE Student Chapter are:-

·         To promote the advancement of transportation and traffic engineering by fostering the close association of students with the transportation and traffic engineering profession and the Institute of Transportation Engineers

·         To acquaint Chapter Members with topics of interest in transportation and traffic engineering through the meetings and field trips

·         To foster the development of professional spirit, to promote common interest among Chapter Members

·         To encourage the expansion of facilities for transportation and traffic engineering study.
